There are companies that will offer you the annual payment which helps you pay for your study costs. This yearly payment is also known as a bursary. Always check with the school you are going to study if they have a list of companies offering nursing bursaries. You can also check the list below.

How Can You Get a Bursary For Nursing?

It almost sounds too good to be true right? A company will pay for your study costs so you will become a nurse? Although it is true that companies offer this service in the form of a Bursary, there are certain requirements. Besides that, the competition is stiff as many people are going for only a few Bursaries.

First, check at the school or University you want to study. Are you allowed to study there with your results and your certificate? Secondly, check for companies offering Nursing bursaries. These are often available at the school you want to study and of course on this website.

  • Candidates have to have pre-approval from an institute of higher learning.

Most students will find work at any state hospital, private hospital, clinic, or emergency care services in South Africa as well as international.  Students are responsible to find out from the sponsoring company if there is a ‘work-back’ period.

Can You Become a Nurse at 40?

Probably not. There is an age limit to become a nurse. The only way to find out is to contact your school and see if you are eligible to study Nursing.
