Tegkor Nelson Mandela University Accounting Bursary 2021-2022

The Tegkor/Nelson Mandela University Accounting Bursary is aimed at Nelson Mandela University (NMU) Undergraduate as well as Postgraduate students who are in need of financial assistance.

Preference will be given to students who fall into the ‘missing middle’ category.  These are students who are unable to afford their tuition fees yet don’t qualify for free access to higher education.

The Nelson Mandela University (NMU) is based in the Eastern Cape and is one of the most sought after and diverse tertiary institutions in South Africa. The Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) opened on the 1st of January 2005.  NMMU was the result of a merger between Vista University, the PE Technikon and the University of Port Elizabeth (UPE).

The NMMU changed its name in 2017 to the NMU, providing an opportunity for the institution to rebrand itself in an era of national transformation.
