What Is This Bursary About?
SANZAF, which stands for South African National Zakah Fund, is a charity that helps the poor.
It is a religious organization that provides Islamic Zakah and Sadaqat (charity) to the most vulnerable people of society.
The money from the funds is used to improve areas like welfare, education, development, and disaster relief.
In South Africa alone, SANZAF serviced around 1,432,805 people in 2020. It spent R 27,000,000 on education the previous year.
Individual members who desire to help other members of the Muslim community fund the Islamic organization.
Every year, SANZAF offers bursaries to a set number of students.
One sort of Saqadat is to assist others. SANZAF’s bursaries are intended to assist students who do not have the financial means to complete their studies.
The SANZAF Zakah bursary is available to all qualifying South African students, regardless of the subject of study.
The amount of the bursary will be calculated on an individual basis.
If the needs are great, the amount will be great as well.
The bursary will cover expenditures like as registration fees, tuition fees (part or whole), housing, and food, among others.
Bursaries will be paid directly to the tertiary institution where you are enrolled. Shortlisted candidates will receive additional information.
