What Is This Bursary Program?
The Eastern Cape Department of Transport is now accepting applications for its bursary program for the academic year.
Bursaries will be provided to Eastern Cape residents for National Diploma / Degree studies (3-year qualification) in transportation-related subjects.
Who Can Apply
Applicants must satisfy the minimum entrance criteria listed below before applying.
Applicants must be studying one of the following fields:
- Civil Engineering
- Maritime Engineering
- Architectural Studies
Applicants will also have to meet the following requirements:
- You must be a citizen of South Africa.
- You must be a resident of the Eastern Cape province.
- You must be between the ages of 18 and 35 to qualify.
- You must have finished Matric.
- You must be studying or intend to study full-time towards an undergraduate National Diploma or Degree qualification in one of the above-mentioned transportation-related subjects.
- You must be enrolled or accepted at a South African-recognized and approved postsecondary institution.
What Does This Bursary Cover?
The bursary will cover expenses related to your studies. The extent of which will be disclosed to successful applicants.
