What Is This Bursary Programme?
- Designed to support students studying IT‑related degrees and launch them into software development careers.
- Open to students pursuing BSc, BEng, BCom or BIS degrees with majors in Computer Science, Computer & Software Engineering, Information Technology, Game Design or Informatics at Bachelor’s, Honours, Masters or Doctorate level.
- Offers mentorship and professional exposure within BBD’s diverse technology environment.
Who Can Apply
- Applicants must be South African citizens.
- Currently studying or preparing to study towards an IT degree at a recognised South African university.
- Have a minimum overall academic average of 70 % (Matric) or 65 % (Tertiary).
- Demonstrate a passion for creating and building software and ideally have personal coding projects to showcase.
