Heraeus South Africa is now inviting students to apply for its bursary program.

Applications for the Heraeus Bursary will be closing on 30 July 2022.
Please make sure that your application and all supporting documents are submitted before this date.
If you fail to do so, your application will not be considered for selection by the Bursary provider.
What is The Heraeus Bursary?
The German-based precious metal and technology corporation Heraeus has a subsidiary in South Africa called Heraeus South Africa.
The primary business activities of Heraeus PGM SA (Pty) Ltd include the importation and retail sale of various products containing precious metals, the production of chemical products and solutions, and the production of chemical solutions and compounds containing precious metals for the automotive industry, and the refining of precious metals.
They are now inviting students to apply for its bursary program.
Within 30 days after the closing date, shortlisted candidates will be contacted; if you have not heard anything by 30 August 2022, please consider your application to have failed.
Candidates will be invited to an online interview if they are shortlisted (via Skype, Zoom, Face Call, or Teleconference).
Additionally, applications will be verified (credit checks, criminal checks, the authenticity of ID, etc).
Candidates will receive written notification of the final decision by August 2022.
Who Can Apply
This bursary program will cater to students who are involved in the following studies:
- Analytical Chemistry
- Chemical Process Technology
- Mathematics (Pure and Applied)
Applicants will also need to meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must be South African citizens.
- Applicants must have completed Matric.
- Applicants must be studying full-time towards a qualification in a field listed above.
- Applicants must be studying at a recognized tertiary education institution in the country.
What Does This Bursary Cover?
This bursary will provide financial cover for a candidate’s tuition fees, prescribed books, and accommodation.
