The Moshal Scholarship Programme is an international philanthropic initiative operating in South Africa and Israel. It provides not only financial aid but also mentoring and training to help students succeed academically and professionally.
What is the bursary about?
The scholarship covers tuition fees, textbooks, accommodation and a living allowance for the duration of the recipient’s degree. Fields supported include dentistry, medicine (MBChB), pharmacy (UKZN only), veterinary science, biomedical engineering and a range of engineering disciplines.
Who can apply / eligibility criteria
Applicas who have been accepted or are applying to study in one of the eligible fields. They should have a strong academic record (particularly in mathematics and science), demonstrate financial need and show resilience and determination to succeed. Candidates must also commit to participating in Moshal’s development workshops and mentoring sessions
