Nestle Future Talent Bursary 2023-2024

The bursary program will require you to meet a few requirements to be considered an ideal applicant.

Below is a breakdown of exactly how this bursary works and what you will need to do during the application process.

Closing Date

The Nestle Future Talent Bursary application period will end on 21 November 2022.

Please make sure to submit your application and any other supporting materials by this date.

Your application won’t be taken into account by the bursary provider if you don’t do this.

Nestle was created by the amalgamation of two companies: Farine Lactée Henri Nestle and the Anglo-Swiss Milk Company.

It is continually introducing new products to the market in order to suit consumer demand.

The world-renowned company is now looking for eager and hardworking students to apply for its bursary program.

Who Can Apply

Nestle provides bursaries to assist talented, self-motivated, and passionate students in pursuing a profession.

The Nestle Future Talent Bursary is available to students who want to further their education.

For the academic year 2023, the bursary is available for the following subjects of study:

  • Commerce: industrial psychology, supply chain management, economics
  • Computer Science & Information Technology
  • Animal Care (Agriculture)
  • Data Analyst: Data Science, Data Communication, Datametrics
  • Human Resource management
  • Finance – B.com Accounting, B.com financial sciences
  • Food Science and technology
  • Innovation- Management of technology and innovation, entrepreneurship and innovation management, innovation and digital thinking
  • E-commerce; digital marketing, digital media, e-commerce management,  brand management,  social media marketing
  • Engineering; mechanical, automation, robotics, mechatronics, industrial engineering

Before applying, candidates must meet the minimum entry requirements listed below (please note that if you do not meet all of the requirements, your application will not be considered):

  • Students must be South African citizens.
  • One must be between the ages of 17 and 25.
  • Applicants must have finished their Matriculation.
  • Students must be studying or willing to study at a South African university.
  • Engineering students must have a minimum Matric score of 6 in Mathematics and Physical Sciences.
  • One must be interested in one of the fields indicated above.
  • Tertiary students applying for the first time must have a minimum average score of 70% for all courses in the current year of study. Students must be strong academic performers.
  • Applicants must be passionate and self-motivated.
  • Students must demonstrate their financial inability. Their annual household income cannot exceed R605 000.

What Does This Bursary Cover?

The bursary will cover the following expenses:

  • Registration
  • Tuition fees
  • Textbook costs
  • Accommodation allowance
  • Meal allowance

How To Apply

Applying for this bursary is fairly easy, all you need to do is complete the following online application form, which you can find here.

Before filling out the form, you need to register and log in to Nestle’s site. When applying for the bursary, students must use the code “Nestle 2023.”

Submit clear copies of the following supporting papers with your online application (submission of these documents are mandatory; if any elements are missing, your application may be disqualified):

  • ID document certified copy
  • On the institution’s letterhead, print the most recent academic results.
  • Proof of University registration/admission on the institution’s letterhead
  • Certified copy of household income verification, such as a paystub or an affidavit (if unemployed)
