The PPS Foundation invites applications for the PPS Bursary Programme 2026, supporting academically strong and financially needy South African students pursuing tertiary qualifications in science, health and related professional fields. The bursary provides comprehensive financial aid to help future professionals achieve their academic goals and contribute to South Africa’s growth.

PPS (Professional Provident Society) Foundation is a non-profit arm of PPS Holdings Trust, committed to empowering South Africa’s youth through education and skills development. The Foundation promotes transformation by investing in students studying across STEM, health, and other professional disciplines, aiming to develop the country’s future leaders.
What Is This Bursary Programme?
Each year, the PPS Foundation funds 50 to 70 bursary recipients, carefully selected based on academic merit and financial need. The bursary covers:
- Full tuition and registration fees
- Accommodation and meals (where applicable)
- Prescribed books and study materials
- A living allowance where appropriate
Supported fields include (but are not limited to):
- Medicine and Health Sciences
- Veterinary Science
- Psychology
- Physics
- Biotechnology
- Other science, technology and professional disciplines
Who Can Apply
To qualify, applicants must:
- Be South African citizens in financial need
- Demonstrate strong academic performance in their current or previous year of study
- Be registered or accepted for full-time study at a recognised South African university in an approved field of study
- Not be recipients of any other full bursary funding

5 December 2025 – All applicant profiles must be created by this date.
All supporting documentation must be uploaded by 20 December 2025.
