What Is This Bursary Program?
The Standard Bank Group Bursary covers full tuition costs, textbooks, accommodation, medical aid, living allowance, laptop, as well as mentoring and psychological support.
It supports full-time study for undergraduate years one through four, as well as postgraduate studies up to Master’s level.

Who Can Apply
To be considered, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a South African citizen
- Have achieved an average of 65% or higher in the latest examinations (mid-year/June)
- Be registered for full-time undergraduate or postgraduate studies
- Meet university admission requirements for postgraduate bursaries
Applicants who pass the initial screening will be invited to participate in a formal assessment process, which may include psychometric evaluations and interviews. Financial need will also be considered.
