Mpumalanga Premier’s Discretionary Bursary 2026 provides financial support to eligible students pursuing accredited programmes at public universities, universities of technology or TVET colleges.

The initiative is designed to grow critical and scarce skills, expand access to higher education for deserving youth, and strengthen service delivery within the relevant province or municipality. Applicants should review the official notice for full conditions, values and obligations.

  • Learners currently in Matric, individuals who have completed Matric, or students already enrolled at recognised public institutions in South Africa.
  • South African citizens who are residents of Mpumalanga.

  • Certified copies of educational qualifications
  • Certified copy of the ID document
  • Proof of residence
  • Certified copies of death certificates (if parents are deceased)
