About the Bursary
Ga‑Segonyana & Assmang BRMO Bursary 2026 provides financial support to eligible students pursuing accredited programmes at public universities, universities of technology or TVET colleges.
The opportunity provides bursaries to Five (5) students for full time study at accredited South African Universities or Universities of Technology.
Priority Fields of Study
Bursaries are available in but not limited to one of the following fields of study:
- BCom (Accounting, Economics, Law, HR, Business Management)
- BA (Public Admin, Journalism, Communication, Industrial & Organisational Psychology)
- Social Sciences, Social Work, Education, LLB
- BSc (Actuarial Science, Engineering, Geology, Quantity Survey, Agriculture, Architecture, Computer Science)
- Pharmacy, Nursing, MBChB, Town & Regional Planning
Eligibility & Minimum Requirements
- South African citizens residing within Ga‑Segonyana Local Municipality (18–35 years).
- Matric learners who meet programme requirements or current university students (1st, 2nd or final year).
- No existing bursary or student loan; preference to historically disadvantaged and financially needy applicants.
- Minimum academic thresholds (e.g., Mathematics & Physical Science level 5+ for science fields; 60% average for other fields).

The opportunity provides for full time study at accredited South African Universities or Universities of Technology.
