What it covers
EY lists two types of bursaries. The Academic Merit with Financial Need Bursary may cover one or more, or a combination, of tuition, accommodation, books and/or meals. The Academic Merit Bursary covers a portion of tuition fees.
Eligibility
- Must be pursuing Chartered Accountancy / CA-stream studies
- Must have a strong academic record and demonstrate the ability to qualify as a Chartered Accountant
- Financial need is considered for the need-based bursary route
- Successful bursars are required to work at EY for the duration of their training contract, a minimum of three years
- Matric applicants and university applicants have separate application windows and document lists
