It is responsible for the Caltex Refinery’s construction in the 60s and has been operating in South Africa for well over 50 years.
The company focuses on providing engineering, procurement, and construction to its clients with the highest standard.
The Fluor company is considered an equal employer and will consider all qualified individuals during the hiring phase regardless if they are a minority in any way.
Successful applicants will be shortlisted and contacted within 2 weeks of the closing date.
Who Can Apply
The Fluor Bursary program is open to engineering students in the following fields:
- Structural Engineering
- Architectural Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Chemical Engineering
- Electrical Engineering
- Civil Engineering
- Control Systems and Instrumentational Engineering
However, applicants that are studying in these fields will still need to meet the following criteria set by the Fluor company to be considered an ideal candidate for their bursary program:
- Applicants must be Soth African citizens.
- Applicants must be studying or intend to with a recognized tertiary institution.
- Applicants must have a strong academic performance.
- Applicants must be financially needy.
- Applicants must be willing to pursue an engineering career with the Fluor company.
What Does This Bursary Cover?
The Fluor Bursary program will provide financial cover for a candidate’s study-related fees.
The extent of which is undisclosed and will be revealed to successful applicants at the company’s discretion.
