What Is This Scholarship About?

Inscape Education Group is a non-profit organization and one of South Africa’s oldest privately owned interdisciplinary creative arts institutes. The institution has been offering certified courses (higher certificates, diplomas, and degrees) in the built environment and creative industry for over three decades.

Students applying to Inscape who are registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) have the option of studying at one of the Inscape campuses in South Africa (Cape Town, Durban, Midrand, Pretoria, and Stellenbosch) or in Dubai, United Arab Emirates via distance or online learning.

The Inscape Scholarship Program began in 2014, and since then, it has granted more than R11 million in scholarship assistance.

Inscape provides the following courses:

  • Bachelor of Arts studies at the undergraduate level (Communication and Digital Marketing)
  • Design Bachelor’s Degree (Audio Visual, Interaction, Interior Design, Environmental Design, Ideation, Fashion Design and Graphic Design)
  • Higher Education Certificate (Architectural Technology, Interior Decorating, Design Techniques, and Fashion Design)
  • Diploma (Interior design and graphic design) (Interior design and graphic design)
  • Selected candidates may be awarded full (100%) or partial (50%) scholarships to pay first-year study packets and tuition costs. Accommodation, administrative costs, device insurance, monthly consumables, parking fees, and resubmission/transfer fees are not covered by the scholarship.

The chosen nominee will be given one week to confirm acceptance of the prize. They must also meet all of the criteria and requirements of the Inscape Scholarship. The chosen individuals must also enroll immediately at the Inscape campus.

Scholarship recipients are regarded Inscape ambassadors, thus they are required to participate in promotional events on campus and meet crucial requirements such as attending class consistently, maintaining punctuality, completing all assignments on time, and passing all modules.

The candidate must closely adhere to the student code of conduct. If an applicant leaves out of the educational program or fails, they must repay the entire study package, including the laptop/macbook.
