What Is This Bursary About?

The Professional Provident Society or PPS Foundation was established in 2016 with the primary goal of increasing participation in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) sectors and contributing to the long-term development of South African communities.

Because the organization recognizes the paucity of these vital sectors in the country, it offers possibilities to tackle the situation.

Bursaries for the Humanities are also available to students.

Candidates for bursaries are chosen based on their academic performance and financial need.

Bursaries will be provided beginning in the first year of the degree program.

Students in their first year of degree courses will be required to attend PPS foundation contact support sessions on campus throughout the year.

Students must submit their results at the end of each year in order for their bursaries to be renewed for the following academic year.

The PPS Foundation bursary will be paid directly to the institution, and its renewal is contingent on the bursary holder’s academic results.

PPS determines the application criteria and retains the right to change them at any moment without giving applicants prior notice.

The PPS foundation also maintains the right to remove financial assistance if the bursary holder violates any of the terms and conditions.
