Bursary sponsor – Accenture Education Trust (AET)
The Accenture Education Trust invites academically strong and financially needy students to apply for its scholarship for the 2026 academic year. The scholarship aims to empower future leaders in technology and engineering fields by covering tuition and providing mentoring and support. The AET aims to create a pipeline of skilled, diverse graduates ready to join the digital economy. Moreover, this Accenture Scholarship for 2026 will enhance access to education for deserving candidates.
What is this bursary program?
The scholarship provides full funding for qualifying students, including registration and tuition fees, examination costs, a book and laptop allowance, accommodation and meals, and mentoring by industry professionals.
Who can apply
To qualify, applicants must:
– be South African citizens
– be studying full‑time towards a technology‑aligned degree at a public university (2nd‑4th year or Honours in 2026)
– have a strong academic record
– meet family income thresholds (R350 000–R1 000 000 per year for undergraduates; less than R300 000 for postgraduates or previously funded students)
– be registered at specified universities (UP, UCT, UKZN, Stellenbosch, Wits, UJ)

- Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or IT
- Data Engineering/Big Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics & Data Science
- Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Informatics, Information & Knowledge Systems
- Mechanical & Mechatronics Engineering, Micro‑Electronic Engineering
- Any technology‑aligned degree emphasising digital innovation
