Tip: January and February deadlines can clash with back-to-campus admin and tight turnaround times. Plan ahead for certified copies, proof of registration/admission and income documents so you’re not rushed near closing day.

Before You Apply

  • Read the full bursary advert: Click through to each bursary page and check all requirements, including academic results, age limits, residency criteria and accepted fields of study.
  • Prepare your documents: Common requirements include certified ID copies, latest academic results, proof of residence, proof of household income and a motivational letter.
  • Watch the submission method: Some bursaries use online portals, while others need email or hand-delivered applications – follow the instructions exactly.
  • Apply early: Don’t wait for the last day. Portals can get busy, and missing/unclear documents are one of the main reasons applications are rejected.

This “Closing Soon” page is updated as new bursaries are added to the site. For more opportunities, browse the latest bursaries and use the bursary search to filter by field of study.
