What is the IFA Bursary?

The IFA Division of Clientèle Life has a goal to rejuvenate and better the environment across the country. The IFA has a corporate and social responsibility to make real contributions to the betterment of local South African communities. Therefore to achieve these results, the IFA Bursary scheme was founded in 2008.

The IFA Bursary scheme is directly aimed toward the children of active IFA members. They will be assisted with their undergraduate studies in any field of their choice. Candidates that have been shortlisted will be required to attend an interview with a Bursary Committee Member. All successful candidates will receive financial aid with their study-related fees each year. The applicant will have to meet minimum entry criteria to apply for the bursary. Please be aware that if you do not meet the bursary’s requirements, you will not be considered. This bursary requires students to have a 60% academic average at the minimum for their Grade 11 or Matric year.

This bursary scheme has an extensive selection process and will shortlist successful candidates. Once they have had their interview and their bursary has been approved, they will have to provide proof of their bursary acceptance to their chosen institution by 31 January 2022. If a student is not currently at university, they will be required to take an online career assessment.
