The Traxtion TraxWAGON Bursary Programme 2026 supports young women who wish to pursue technical and logistics-related qualifications at public TVET colleges. Traxtion, a specialist rail engineering and operations company, is funding TVET students in selected trades and disciplines while contributing to transformation in the rail and logistics sector.

Eligibility criteria
- South African female citizen aged between 18 and 35.
- Residing in one of the following provinces: North West, Free State, Mpumalanga, Northern Cape or Gauteng.
- Completed Grade 12 with subjects suitable for the chosen TVET programme (e.g. Mathematics and Physical Science for engineering trades).
- Intending to study full-time at a public TVET college registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET).
- Good academic potential and a genuine interest in a career in rail, engineering or logistics.
- Meets any additional requirements in the official Traxtion TraxWAGON advert.
Documents you will need
- Certified copy of your South African ID.
- Certified copy of your Matric certificate or latest school results.
- Proof of residence in one of the eligible provinces.
- Proof of application or acceptance at a DHET-registered TVET college.
- Short CV outlining your education and any work/volunteering experience.
- Motivational letter explaining your interest in the field and in Traxtion.
- Any other documents specified on the online application form.
