Closing Date
The HHO Bursary application period will end on 31 August 2022.
Please make sure to submit your application and any other supporting materials by this date.
Your application won’t be taken into account by the bursary provider if you don’t do this.

For the academic year 2023, HHO Consulting Engineers is encouraging students to apply for their bursary program.
Bursaries will be given for undergraduate civil engineering study.
The HHO Bursary’s objective is to aid in the development of the nation’s skills while also supplying the business with staff who are technically proficient.
Who Can Apply
This bursary only applies to Civil engineering students on an undergraduate level. However, they will still need to meet the following requirements to be considered as ideal candidates:
- You must be a resident of South Africa.
- You must have completed Matric and come from a historically underprivileged background.
- You must be enrolled full-time in undergraduate Civil Engineering coursework at this time.
- You must be enrolled in a recognized and approved tertiary institution in South Africa and in your second year of study.
- You need to have a good academic history.
- You can’t be receiving any other financial aid (from another company or NSFAS)
What Does This Bursary Cover?
The bursary will pay for the following costs: registration fees, tuition fees, and an R2,000 per semester book allowance. The bursary DOES NOT pay for lodging or travel expenses (unless under special circumstances).
Depending on the academic performance of the bursary recipient and at the company’s option, the grant may be renewed each year.

Along with your completed application form, send in clear copies of the following supporting documents (submitting these documents is required; if any are missing, your application may be rejected):
- Identity card (certified copy)
- complete transcripts and academic records, including the most recent grades (on institutions letterhead)
- Coursework for a degree or diploma
